EBV not detectable

If you have been following Lennon’s journey of his liver transplant saga than you know we in the past have struggled with EBV .. Here is a post about it PTLD that correlates to this virus. The numbers have gone as high as 20,000 to 40,000 if not higher and for the first time since November 2008 when we started out transplant journey the EBV is undetectable.. this is great news for a kid with 3 liver transplants and I am happy as heck (with the normal side of worries).

EEEck I am kind of beside myself.. especially considering the post from a few days ago where I was holding my breath. I suspect I will have those moments from time to time but I hope and I work hard and just keeping things in the moment because it is one of those things he’s taught me – life’s too short to be miserable and we choose happy instead.

I am off to do some imaginary flips to celebrate today’s news (in reality I am going to work)

Much love,

the happy mum
